Golf Carts for Sale in Cape Town
We are based in Century City, Cape Town, and supply new, used and refurbished golf carts across the city and the wider Western Cape. Every cart is serviced, tested and inspected before it goes out.
Being local means we can usually get a cart to you quickly, and we are here if you need service or spares later.
What we have available
We supply 2 seater, 4 seater and 6 seater carts, utility models with load bins, and lifted carts for rougher ground. Both electric and petrol.
Brands we stock are Club Car, E-Z-GO, Yamaha and Melex. Most Cape Town buyers go electric, especially on estates and wine farms where noise matters.
Carts can be fitted with rain covers, LED lights, mag wheels, Bluetooth speakers and load bins.
What does a golf cart cost?
Starting prices, depending on stock and condition:
Used 2 seater, from R55,000
New 2 seater, from R85,000
New 4 seater, from R95,000
New 6 seater, from R140,000
What you pay comes down to age, seats and battery condition. On a used cart the batteries matter more than anything else, so a cheap cart with old batteries usually costs more in the end.
Ask us and we will send the current stock list with real prices.
New, used and second hand carts
New carts carry a warranty on selected models. Second hand and refurbished carts cost less and are checked and serviced before they leave us. Tell us your budget and how you plan to use the cart and we will point you at the right one.
Delivery across Cape Town and the Western Cape
We deliver across Cape Town and the Western Cape, including Century City, Durbanville, Bellville, Milnerton, Table View, Constantia, Hout Bay, Somerset West, Stellenbosch, Paarl and Franschhoek. Carts go out on a trailer and the cost depends on your address. We confirm it before you commit.
Renting instead of buying
For a golf day, a wedding or a short project, renting costs less than buying. We rent daily, weekly and monthly across South Africa.
Common questions
What is a good price for a golf cart?
For a used 2 seater in decent condition, from around R55,000. New carts start at about R85,000. Anything well below that is usually a cart with tired batteries, which is an expensive replacement.
Do you need a licence to drive a golf cart in South Africa?
Not on private property. Golf carts are not road legal on public roads under South African traffic rules, so no licence or registration applies on an estate, a farm or a golf course.
Electric or petrol in the Western Cape?
Electric suits estates, wine farms and golf courses, because it is quiet and cheap to run. Petrol makes more sense on large farms and rough ground where charging is awkward.
How long do the batteries last?
With normal use and proper charging, several years. We tell you the battery age and condition on any used cart before you buy.
Do you sell spares and batteries?
Yes, we supply golf carts batteries .
