The 8kW Deye Hybrid solar system provides a powerful and expandable energy solution for South African homes and small businesses. It combines strong solar generation, intelligent hybrid power management and dependable lithium battery storage.
The system includes an 8kW Deye hybrid inverter, 14 × 600W bifacial solar panels and two 5kWh Deye lithium batteries. Therefore, the panels provide a combined solar capacity of approximately 8.4kWp under standard test conditions. Meanwhile, the two batteries offer approximately 10kWh of total nominal storage capacity.

Powerful Bifacial Solar Generation
The 600W bifacial solar panels can capture sunlight from the front and reflected light from the rear. As a result, they may produce additional energy when the installation surface and mounting conditions allow rear-side exposure.
Furthermore, the 14 panels provide a strong solar array for daytime household or business consumption. Actual solar production will depend on roof direction, panel angle, shading, weather conditions and installation location.
Intelligent Hybrid Power Management
The Deye hybrid inverter manages power from the solar panels, batteries and electricity grid. During the day, solar energy can supply connected appliances while charging the lithium batteries. Consequently, stored battery energy can support selected appliances at night or during electricity interruptions.
In addition, remote monitoring allows the customer to view solar production, battery status and system performance through a compatible mobile application.
Expandable Energy Storage
The two Deye lithium batteries provide approximately 10kWh of nominal storage. However, actual backup time will depend on the connected appliances, battery settings and total electricity consumption.
For example, high-power appliances such as geysers, stoves, ovens and air conditioners will reduce backup time. Therefore, we recommend completing a load assessment before installation.
