The 8kW Deye solar system offers a powerful and expandable energy solution for South African homes and small businesses. It combines solar generation, intelligent power management and lithium battery storage in one complete package.
The package includes an 8kW Deye hybrid inverter, 10 × 600W solar panels and one 5kWh Deye lithium battery. Together, the ten panels provide approximately 6kWp of installed solar capacity under standard test conditions. Therefore, the system can generate solar power during the day while charging the battery for later use.

Intelligent Hybrid Power Management
The Deye hybrid inverter manages energy from the solar panels, lithium battery and electricity grid. During the day, the solar panels can supply power to connected appliances. At the same time, the system can use any available excess solar energy to charge the battery.
As a result, the battery can support selected appliances at night or during electricity interruptions. In addition, the hybrid inverter can use grid power when solar and battery power cannot meet the property’s energy demand.
Remote monitoring also allows the customer to view system performance through a compatible mobile application. Therefore, the customer can monitor solar generation, battery status and electricity usage more easily.
Expandable Solar and Battery Capacity
This system offers excellent flexibility for changing energy requirements. For example, you can add compatible battery storage if you need longer backup times. Furthermore, the installer can assess whether the system supports additional solar panels based on the inverter specifications and existing solar-panel configuration.

We offer professional solar installation across selected areas of South Africa. Before installation, our team may request photographs of the roof and distribution board. We may also need the property location, roof type and distance between the distribution board and inverter installation point.
This information helps us plan the installation and confirm whether the standard package meets the property’s requirements. In addition, it allows us to identify any extra electrical or mounting work before the installation date.
Finally, our team will install, test and commission the system. A Certificate of Compliance will also form part of the installation when the quotation includes it.
